If you are using an ePDQ account to take online payments through your @UK PLC ecommerce package, then you may be aware of the address verification service. This is a setting that you can choose at your online ePDQ account management site.
If you switch on address verification, then the Barclays payment engine will check the first line and postcode of the Card address entered by the customer. (By default the card address is the same as their delivery address).Notes
1. The email confirmation of the order that you receive will now notify you if the delivery address verification failed. However, the payment will still be taken unless you select the 'decline' setting at your ePDQ account.
2. Card addresses that are registered outside of the UK will automatically fail the address verification.
