What is Punchout?

Punchout is the process of connecting from one system to another so that a user can shop for goods or services. The user is automatically signed on to the shopping site, and the shopping basket is returned to the purchasing site.

OCI punchout

SAP only protocol designed for multi supplier shopping basket return to SAP. OCI stands for Open Catalogue Interface.

OAGXML punchout

Oracle only designed for multi supplier shopping basket return to Oracle. OAG stands for Open Applications Group.

Standard Punchout

Normal form of punchout supported by all types of punchout

Transparent Punchout

A distributed search rather than punchout supported by OAGXML and SBXP punchout's only
