| What are product attributes? Attributes are extra pieces of information that you can collect when a user buys your product. Attributes are used to either collect more information about your customer, or about the product that is being purchased. Attributes do not affect the price of a product. Example: You sell a T-Shirt with a particular design on it, and it is available in 3 sizes. You would create one product item 'T-Shirt with particular design', and add product attributes 'Small, Medium, Large'. Attributes can be applied across a product range, or against each specific item. Example catalogue: Product 1: T-Shirts Attributes for items in Product 1: Size S, M, L ---Item 1 - T-shirt, design A ---Item 2 - T-shirt, design B Product 2: Trainers Attributes for items in Product 2: Size 6,7,8,9,10,11,12 ---Item 1 - Pair of Trainers, design A ---Item 2 - Pair of Trainers, design B Related items: What do you mean by a 'product item'?, What do you mean by a 'product'? |
