@Coding
There are a large number of Coding and Classification systems used by buyers, and unfortunately suppliers have generally be asked to map to all of them.
@UK PLC is now able to simplify the process for suppliers by mapping all of a suppliers products to e2class, which then accurately maps onto all existing coding systems used by buyers, and takes the head ache of coding and classification away from suppliers and buyers.
SpendInsight is able to automate the analysis and classification of spend to e2class, and onwards into other systems such as UNSPC, ProClass and NHS eclass that are used by buyers.
E2class item level analysis is the key to tenders and eauctions where you need to be able to accurately compare different offerings and their associated qualities.
Use e2class to map to everything else
There are over 500,000 item level codes in e2class, which can be used to map to the 1,000's of categories in the various commonly used procurement classification systems. This is much less painful than maintaining mappings to each of the individual classification systems. It also means that when new versions of classification systems come out your items are already mapped as part of the maintenance of e2class
e2class maps to the following systems
- NSV - National Supplies Vocabulary
- NHS eclass - National Health Service eclass
- ecl@ss - German eclass
- UNSPSC - United Nations Standard Products and Services Code
- ProClass -Local Authorities ProClass
